Masspike Miles hit the music scene long before being signed with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Label, yet to many music fans he did not register on their radar until the premiere of the 2008 recording of "Get It Together". Little do they know of the journey that it took Masspike Miles to get to his current destination as Maybach Music recording artist.
Miles’ father, a jazzman, named his son after legendary trumpeter Miles Davis. And it didn’t take the kid long to launch his own musical career. At the age of 11, Miles caught the eye of legendary R&B producer Maurice Starr, who also discovered New Kids On The Block and New Edition. Signed to Warner Bros in 1992 Miles became the lead singer of the group Perfect Gentlemen leading Miles to work with artists like Bobby Brown, Dallas Austin, Eddie F and Montell Jordan.
Focused on his solo career Maybach Music Recording artist MassPike Miles' recent mixtape, The Pursuit of Happiness is buzzing while Miles prepares for his debut album, The Struggle. MTV has also added both “Cigar Music” and "Money On Mind,” a Track Dealers (Masspike Miles & Antagonist) produced Smoke Bulga single feat. Jim Jones on to their video rotation.
