Fans upset by BET ban of Ciara's music video for her new single "Ride"

Have you seen the video for Ciara’s new single “Ride” on BET?

Actually, no one has.

The R&B singer responded to HipHollywood.com about rumors the music video channel had banned the video because it’s too racy.
In it, the athletic songstress appears scantily clad and gyrating while singing lyrics such as “They love the way I ride it.” The video also features the rapper Ludacris.

Ciara confirmed to HipHollywood.com that BET is not showing her video, and offered a solution.

“If there’s a way to edit a version for [BET] I would definitely do it,” she said. “My fans have actually given me a lot of support.”

Fans have gone so far as to launch a “twitition” calling for BET to reverse the ban on the video.

Jennifer Hudson's Weight Loss: How She Did It

Once a size 16, Jennifer Hudson is now reveling in her new size 6 body, telling PEOPLE, "I’m in the best shape of my life!"

After giving birth to her son last August, Hudson, 28, had to drop her post-pregnancy pounds for her next movie role as Winnie Mandela. "Whatever it takes to morph into a character I’ll do it," says Hudson.

But the star went about her weight loss in a healthy way by working out with trainer Harley Pasternak and learning about portion control through Weight Watchers’ point system (Hudson became the official spokesperson for the weight loss plan earlier this year).

Now as the actress gets ready to fly to the South African set of her new movie, Hudson will face the challenges of figuring out how many points are in vetkoek – a South African fried treat. Just don’t think she’s going to fall off the weight-loss wagon anytime soon.

"She will need to investigate every new product on this new continent," says Liz Josefsberg, Hudson’s Weight Watchers counselor. "I am not the least bit worried about Jennifer… She is an amazing and resilient personality who will be just fine in her surroundings."

Forget the over-the-top razzmatazz we associate with big stars these days - this show was all about Alicia, her voice and her piano.

Looking stunning clad in black leather, a high point came as early as three songs in when Falling raised the roof. Then No One sparked a mass singalong with the entire crowd getting involved.

A hard rock interlude felt slightly strange but Alicia was at her best again when she slowed it down for Pray For Forgiveness and Diary. And, of course, there was only one way to finish the show - her worldwide hit Empire State Of Mind.

As she sang "When you're in Scotland", instead of "New York", it was clear everyone wanted her to stay right where she was

Judge Marsha Revel issued a bench warrant for Lindsay Lohan's arrest and set bail at $100,000 after she failed to show up in court this morning. The judge said that Lohan can post bail and remain free until her next court hearing if she; stays clean, takes random drug tests and wears a SCRAM bracelet.

The strength of the Haitian people, a culture rich in both pride and in history, resilient through trials and tribulations in the pursuit of freedom from all forms of oppression. The countries flag is a reminder of the on going journey of Haiti. Created May 18, 1803, no other symbol comes close in evoking emotions of pride, and joy, reminding Haitian's everywhere of where they have been, and where it is destined for their nation to go.

The festive South Florida Haitian community remained dormant in the months following the earthquake, the people have been in pain, the pain will not soon subside yet they are propelled forward united to bring life back to their culture through the healing powers of the arts.

For months after the tragic event Haitians have grieved as the world looked on. Now, the world must see that although the earth shook claiming many lives it did not nor could it ever claim the spirit of the Haitian people. That spirit came alive as thousands gathered at Bayfront Park Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the 12th Annual Haitian Compas Festival,beckoned by the beating of the conga drum, the strumming of the guitars and the syncopated rhythms of the keyboards as Compa bands T-Vice, Carimi, Kreyol La, Djakout Mizik, Zenglen, Mikaben, Disip, and many others took to the stage. Met by the new school of Haitian American artist like Black Dada and many others. The crowd went wild singing word for word of Black Dada's hit single "I'm a Zoe"

L'Union Fait La Force "Strength through Unity" since 1807 it has been the saying of the Haitian people that united as a people we are strong. It was the strength of the people that helped them become the first free black nation. It was the strength of the people that helped them overcome dictatorships, poverty, and floods, and it is the strength of the people that will help rebuild Haiti "La Perle des Antilles" after the tragic earthquake of January 12, 2010.
